Happy Meal

The intent of this project was to introduce the phases of the design process through analysis and redesign of a small-scale object.

In the beginning of this project, I acquired, analyzed and disassemble a Happy Meal toy from McDonalds. With that, I reflected on the system that supports the product. I was put into a team of three and our job was to propose and design a new family of products to exist in this system.

The project outcomes that indicate competencies and measurable skills that we developed as a result of completing this project were introduction to phases of design process, familiarity with commercial issues that influence design decisions, and thorough practice with design visualization and communication.
